Alexandru Toloaca

Alexandru is a Python backend engineer who builds the systems behind e-commerce, fintech and AI products, using Django, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Celery and Redis.

At MIT-DEV he has built an e-commerce platform with secure payments and a debt management platform with real-time monitoring and reporting. Before that, he built a RAG document retrieval system on OpenAI APIs, a multi-level credit approval workflow, and integrations with banks, payment providers and delivery services. He started in business intelligence, migrating around 30 databases, the largest 2.5 TB, to the cloud.
