The challenge

Generic transport-management platforms assume a single jurisdiction and a single document regime. Moldova–EU operations do not fit that assumption: customs paperwork, two regulatory perimeters, documents in two languages, and an operations team working across time zones. The platform had to:

  • Fit the route: treat an international crossing as the normal case, not an exception.
  • Stay live: show where every transport is as it moves, for dispatch, drivers and customers.
  • Close the loop: tie each route to its documents and to what it costs.
Before

Generic transport software

  • One jurisdiction and one document regime
  • Crossing paperwork handled outside the system
  • Dashboards that refresh every few minutes
After

Built for Moldova–EU

  • Two regulatory perimeters in the data model
  • Documents tracked with every route
  • One live view for drivers, dispatch and customers

What we built

Requirements in the data model. Jurisdictions, crossing documents and documentation languages are part of the data model, so the platform handles them by design instead of with workarounds.

A dispatch board for the whole fleet. Fleet status and route assignment on one board, where orders are added, reassigned and closed while positions keep streaming in.

Documents for every crossing. A document workflow follows each international transport through the border and the customs paperwork it needs.

Tracking pages for customers. Customers follow their shipment on their own tracking page, with the same up-to-the-minute location the dispatcher sees.

Costs tied to routes. Cost-to-route reporting shows what each route actually costs.

A website that brings in the work. trackvsgroup.com presents the company, its services and the platform, and lets companies request a transport directly.

Request

Built for the phone. From the first visit to a transport request, the site works on a small screen.

Under the hood

The platform is built as a real-time application, not a dashboard that refreshes. Location updates stream to every open screen, so the dispatch board stays responsive while positions arrive and orders change.

The result

Drivers, dispatch and customers see the same up-to-the-minute location data, and the dispatch board stays responsive while positions stream in and orders are added, reassigned and closed.
